Welcome to Imgas Services (Scotland) based in Glasgow. My name is Neil Pitchford and I have worked in the Plumbing & Heating sector since leaving school in 1979. I have specialised in the gas heating sector since 1981 in both the public sector (17 years in total) and the private sector for the remainder including 14 years with a major boiler manufacturer. Serving Glasgow and the surrounding areas including Falkirk, Alloa, Motherwell, Kilmarnock and most of North & South Lanarkshire as well as a good section of Ayrshire. My unique fixed price labour policy is guaranteed, what you are quoted is what you will pay.
I offer fixed price labour repairs on all jobs, subject to Terms & Conditions.
Included in all work will be electronic copies of all the tests done with my smart equipment, proving your repairs and your system is left safe.
I specialise in boiler servicing and repairs. I also do most chimney based gas fire repairs & installs and gas cooker and gas hob installs. I no longer do boiler or central heating installation work. I am available most weeks from Monday to Friday inclusive.
For your convenience, I possess a card reader, meaning payments can be made without the need to have cash. I look forward to hearing from you and being of service!
Simple fixed price structure
My fixed price labour charges are:
- Manufacturers type gas boiler service or L/L Safety Certificate – £70
- Manufacturers type gas boiler service with L/L Safety Certificate – £105 (the service element is reduced when done at the same time as the L/L cert)
- Boiler minimum safety check service only – £45
- Minor gas work – £70
- Major repair to boiler or controls – £100
- Gas cooker/hob installs – £55 + parts (providing all the services are within one metre)
- Gas fire service – £60
Please notes that any parts required are chargeable at an extra cost.
The fixed price element covers the time from starting the job to finishing the job. It won’t change no matter the length of time the job takes. I don’t do 24 hour emergency cover or work weekends any more.

Fully Electric Vehicle
Since investing in a fully electric vehicle, my business carbon footprint has been decarbonised by more than 80%. The van is charged, wherever possible, using the Instavolt charging network, which uses 100% renewable electricity.
100% Paper Free
The equipment I use to carry out my work with is smart equipment that connects to my phone so there’s no need for paper to record the readings and everything relating to readouts are stored on PDFs, again reducing my carbon footprint. With the purchase of a new tablet, I am now in a position to offer the customer a paper-free job experience.
